Crime Stoppers WNY is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person responsible for the assault of a female in the vicinity of Hawthorne Avenue and Kenmore Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda. 

On June 1, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., a female victim was approached from behind by a male suspect while walking along Kenmore Avenue. The suspect forced the victim up a driveway where she was taken to the ground and choked. The victim was able to fend off the unknown attacker by scratching his face and eyes. The suspect was last seen running down Radcliffe Road toward the City of Buffalo. 

The attacker is described as a black male, possibly between age 20-25 and approximately 5'4" tall with a dark complexion, short hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark sweatpants and dark shoes. The suspect is believed to have sustained scratches.
